Amsterdam-based Focus Motor Yachts has announced the launch of a powerful new online configurator. Designed to make the process of speccing your ideal yacht simpler, more intuitive and more fun, the new tool is set to become a vital part of the customer journey.
A Focus Motor Yachts spokesman explained the principle behind the move:
“Our build process at Focus Motor Yachts is highly bespoke. We build each boat by hand and we work hard to ensure that the finished yacht dovetails precisely with the yachting lifestyle the customer wants to live. What we’ve done with the new configurator is enable the customer to lay the foundations of that process for themselves, in a way that is informative, accessible and completely transparent.”
Once a customer has selected their favoured model, they can opt for the recommended equipment or they can use a straightforward tick-box system for a bespoke set of personalised options. The simple six-step process then runs through the engines, the hull & deck and the interior, as well as any mechanical systems, electronic systems and extras the customer might require.
Prices are clearly displayed for each item and the left-hand panel automatically updates the specification and overall package price as each box is checked. When finished, each customer receives an instant download of their chosen boat, with equipment lists, layout diagrams and an offer price for the construction and delivery of their perfect yacht.
Focus Motor Yachts added:
“As ever, our in-house experts remain on hand to offer advice and support in relation to any queries the yacht buyer might have. But with six simple steps and an instantly downloadable spec sheet, our new configurator is an exciting new way for people to refine and tailor our luxury high-performance sports cruisers in whatever way suits their needs.”

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the city of Cannes and the Regional Health Authority decided not to grant the Cannes Yachting Festival to go ahead. We are saddened by the announcement by the organizer, but we are looking forward to seeing you at next year's Cannes Yachting Festival from 7 to 12 September 2021.
